What we found

According to its website, Crypto Trade claims to be regulated by the (ASIC) with License Number 560000, by Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) with license number 34356, by Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA), and by the Commission for Financial Services of the Republic of Mauritius (Mauritius FSC) under number T21628345. However, there isn't any matching information from these regulators supporting its claim. The truth is that Crypto Trade is not regulated by any regulators. Letting it hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Crypto Trade.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
