Cointradex

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Cointradex against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2023) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed
Named in relation to FCA (UK)Named in relation to NFA (U.S.)

What we found

Cointradex claims to be operated by Cointradex Ltd regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). However, our search for this company in the FCA registry found no corresponding records. Therefore, what Cointradex claims about its regulatory status is a lie. This broker also claims to be a United States verified trading brokerage but we didn't find matching data in the National Futures Association (NFA) either. In essence, Cointradex is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. It is unequivocally a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Cointradex.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
