What we found

TheCapitalForexFx is not a reliable broker for traders even though it states offers that look good to be true. TheCapitalForexFx claims it was founded in 2006 and has many years of experience in the financial market. But when we checked its domain, we found it was newly created on 11 May 2022. So how could it start its business in 2006? It is a red flag here. Besides, TheCapitalForexFx claims to be a UK-based broker regulated in Europe, Australia, Japan, the British Virgin Islands, and South Africa. First, as it does not mention specify which European country it has regulations in, e have no way to verify exactly which European national regulator issued the license for this broker. Second, as for regulations in other countries, we searched several regulatory bodies, including: 1) The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA); 2) The Japan Financial Services Agency (Japan FSA); 3) The Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC); 4) The South Africa Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA); 5) The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission (BVI FSC). However, we did not find any match results to TheCapitalForexFx in the above watchdogs' registries. The truth is that TheCapitalForexFx is not under valid regulation by any regulators to do forex. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report TheCapitalForexFx.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
