RIF Capital

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked RIF Capital against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2024) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed
Named in relation to ASIC (Australia)

What we found

According to its website, it is located in Australia. Upon investigation, we found matching information in the Australian Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC), but there is no website to confirm. This website clearly states that it is a foreign exchange dealer, but the license does not allow foreign exchange and does not seem to belong to a dealer, and it is not for retail investors. In essence, RIF Capital is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting it with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. RIF Capital appears to be a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report RIF Capital.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
