GEMIFX

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked GEMIFX against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Clone of a real firm⚑ False or fabricated claims
Named in relation to ASIC (Australia)Named in relation to FCA (UK)

What we found

GEMIFX claims to be owned and operated by GEMI ASSET MANAGEMENT PTY LTD, a company authorized and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC). We indeed find match results to GEMI ASSET MANAGEMENT PTY LTD in both regulatory bodies. However, as per the regulatory details shown on the regulators, the approved domains of this company in the two regulators are respectively "www.gemini-wm.com" and "www.gemi.com.au." That means GEMIFX is a clone firm that falsely uses the regulatory details of licensed firms since its domain is not included in approved domains. The truth is, GEMIFX is not under valid regulation by any regulators to do forex. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report GEMIFX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
