PowerTrend

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked PowerTrend against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed

What we found

ProwerTrend claims to be regulated by the Russia International Financial Market Relations Regulation Center (IFMRRC) with reference number: TSRF RU 0395 AA V0175. We searched IFMRRC and found a registered firm named PowerTrend. However, the reference number can not be matched. Besides, please be informed that IFMRRC is an non-commercial organization and does not regulate forex activities. Having registration does not mean having regulation. The truth is that PowerTrend is not overseen by any regulators. That means investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report PowerTrend.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
