Makasky

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Makasky against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed⚑ Clone of a real firm⚑ False or fabricated claims

What we found

Makasky claims to be regulated by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) with regulatory number MB/16/0012. We found a licensed firm named Makasky Limited from Labuan FSA. However, the approved domain of the licensed firm shown on Labuan FSA is "vegacapitalcorp.com" instead of "makaskyltd.com". That means Makasky is a clone firm that falsely use the regulatory information of a licensed firm. The truth is that Makasky is not regulated by any regulators. Letting this broker hold or control investors' money is unsafe and the money can not be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Makasky.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
