Why it’s flagged
What we found
The website of FuturBTC was first registered in March 2023. This young platform doesn't provide any information about its operator and regulatory status. This is a scam indicator, as legitimate counterparts always prominently display such information to ensure transparency. In an attempt to appear legitimate, FuturBTC offers an address in the UK. As per UK law, almost all individuals or businesses are required to be authorized by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). However, we searched the register of the FCA and didn't find a company under the name "FuturBTC". This means it is not financially registered within this jurisidiction and therefore its offerings are illegal. In essence, FuturBTC is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. FuturBTC is unequivocally a scam.
