A free tool to check before you trust

AskCheck exists to give people a fast, honest answer to one question: has this broker been flagged?

Investment and broker scams cost ordinary people billions every year. The hardest part is that they look legitimate — polished websites, confident “account managers”, dashboards showing steady gains. By the time withdrawals are blocked, the money is usually gone.

AskCheck is a free public tool that lets anyone check a broker or platform against a register of flagged firms in seconds — and report the ones that aren’t listed yet. It’s deliberately simple: type a name or website, get a straight answer, and see what to do next.

What we are

  • A free, no-sign-up checker backed by regulator data and moderated community reports.
  • A growing public register — every report helps warn the next person.
  • A companion to the SentFunds public register, which holds the full record for each flagged broker.

What we are not

We are not a fund-recovery service. We don’t take payment to get money back and we can’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Be very wary of anyone who contacts you promising guaranteed recovery for an up-front fee — that is one of the most common follow-up scams after a loss.
