Privacy notice

How we handle the little data we collect.

Last updated: July 2026

AskCheck is a free public tool for checking and reporting brokers. This notice explains what we collect and why. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run the service.

What we collect

  • Broker checks: the name or website you search is processed to return a result. We don’t require an account and don’t build a profile of you.
  • Reports & messages: if you submit a report or contact form, we store what you enter (including an optional email) so we can moderate and, if needed, reply.
  • Basic technical data: standard server logs and privacy-respecting analytics to keep the site secure and understand usage.

How we use it

  • To run the checker and publish moderated reports.
  • To reply to you if you asked us to.
  • To prevent spam and abuse.

What we publish

Approved reports appear publicly as a moderated summary. We never publish your email address. Don’t include passwords, full card numbers, or other sensitive personal data in a report.

Your choices

You can ask us to remove a report or message you submitted, or to correct a listing, via the contact page.
