Alfa Financials

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Alfa Financials against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2021) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed
Named in relation to FSCA (South Africa)

What we found

Alfa Financials claims to be the trading name of Ala Financials (PTY) LTD which is regulated by the South African Financial Services Board (FSB License No. 45695). But the regulator that approves licenses for the brokers in South Africa is the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA) rather than FSB. We checked on FSCA and found the company is in its register. However, the regulatory status is abnormal and the official regulatory status is lapsed. So Alfa Financials is not regulated or overseen by any financial regulator. That means investors' funds in this broker is unsafe and cannot be protected by any laws. Therefore, it is a scam broker.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Alfa Financials.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
