What we found

BESTOPEX is not a reliable broker even though it states offers that look good to be true. BESTOPEX claims it is registered in the Companies House of United Kingdom (CH) with registration number: 13414462. We do find a match result to BESTOPEX in CH, but CH is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies which has no legit rights to regulate any forex activities. Having registration does not mean having any regulation. As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK financial regulator – FCA. However, we did not find any match results to BESTOPEX in FCA. That means BESTOPEX is not an approved broker to do forex in the UK. Besides, BESTOPEX claims to be regulated by the US National Futures Association (NFA) under an NFA ID: 0540119. When we searched in NFA, we found this broker is not under valid regulation by NFA since it is not an NFA member. That means BESTOPEX is not overseen by any regulators. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report BESTOPEX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
