CEC Markets claims it is an authorized broker under the registration number: 1368782-1, but does not mention where or which regulator it has registration. It is a red flag here. Besides, CEC Markets shows two company addresses on its website, one in Toronto, Canada and one in London, the UK. So we did searching in the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC). However, we did not find any match results to CEC Markets in FCA or IIROC. That means CEC Markets is not overseen by any regulators. Investors' money in this broker is unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.
