Charles
We checked Charles against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.
Why it’s flagged
What we found
Charles claims it is a holding company of Charles Financial Services Limited, a company with subsidies authorized and regulated by multiple regulatory bodies, including: 1) Charles UK Services Limited is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) with company reference number 509956. 2) Charles Financial Services Limited is authorized and regulated by the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySEC) under license number 078/07 and the South African Financial Services Authority (FSCA) with an FSP number 45052. 3) Charles Global Markets Limited is authorized and regulated by the Securities Commission of the Bahamas (Bahamas SCB) under regulatory number: SIA-F184. However, when we searched in the above watchdogs, we found all regulatory info belongs to a company named "FXPRO FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD." As per the regulatory details shown on those regulators, the domain used by Charles is not included in the approved domains of FXPRO FINANCIAL SERVICES LTD. That means Charles is a clone firm that falsely uses the regulatory info of a licensed firm. Charles is not under valid regulation by any regulators to do forex. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.
