Data FX

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Data FX against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2024) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed
Named in relation to SVG FSA

What we found

Data FX claims to operate under Data FX Inc., which is registered with the Financial Services Authority (FSA) of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. While it is true that a company with this name appears in the SVG FSA registry, this registration only confers International Business Company (IBC) status and does not amount to a valid financial license. Notably, the SVG FSA has explicitly stated that it does not regulate or license foreign exchange brokers. Furthermore, Data FX appears to be unregulated by any recognized financial authority, as no licensing information is available on its website. Therefore, Data FX appears to be a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Data FX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
