What we found
Edge Markets previously claims to be registered with the Financial Services Authority of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG FSA) under registration number 1578, a number currently removed from the SVG FSA register. Besides, the SVG FSA has explicitly stated that entities engaging in forex trading and brokerage are not licensed from this jurisdiction. Edge Markets displays an address in Anguilla and thus we searched for it in the register of Anguilla Financial Services Commission. However, there isn't a company called Edge Markets LLC in the list of Money Services Business Regulated Entities. Furthermore, this Anguilla's financial regulator doesn't supervise forex trading. In essence, Edge Markets is not regulated by any governing body. Entrusting this broker with investors' funds is highly risky, as there are no legal protections in place to safeguard the funds. It is unequivocally a scam.
