FortuneOX

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked FortuneOX against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Offshore / shell registration⚑ False or fabricated claims
Named in relation to NFA (U.S.)Named in relation to MAS (Singapore)

What we found

FortuneOX is a thorough scam for the following reasons. First, FortuneOX claims its registration in the Marshall Island. However, we did not find any match results to FortuneOX in the Marshall Islands Registry (IRI). Besides, IRI does neither issue licenses for forex trading nor regulate any entities that offer forex activities. Second, FortuneOX claims it has recently moved its headquarters to Singapore. However, there are no match results to FortuneOX in the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). That means this broker is not an approved broker to provide financial services in Singapore. Most importantly, FortuneOX states it has successfully acquired the license from the National Futures Association (NFA) and is fully regulated by the US ordinance. However, we did not find any match results for this broker in NFA. The regulation info this broker claimed on the website is a false statement for unsuspecting traders. FortuneOX is not overseen by any regulators. That means investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report FortuneOX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
