GOFX

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked GOFX against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed

What we found

GOFX only claims to be registered in Saint Vincent and authorized by the SVG FSA. While we have verified this registration, it is important to note that this is merely an International Business Company (IBC) registration and does not constitute a valid regulatory license. The SVG FSA does not regulate foreign exchange activities. Additionally, although GOFX has an office in Cyprus, we were unable to find the company listed in the registry of the Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission (CySec). This indicates that the company is operating in this jurisdiction without proper authorization, which poses significant risks. Based on these findings, we should mark GOFX as a scam broker.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report GOFX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
