Green Ocean Markets

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Green Ocean Markets against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2023) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Clone of a real firm⚑ False or fabricated claims
Named in relation to SFC (Hong Kong)

What we found

Green Ocean Markets claims it is a registered brand name of Green Harmony Securities Ltd (Hong Kong), a company regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission Hong Kong (SFC) with license number: BNZ 903. We indeed found a match result to Green Harmony Securities Ltd in SFC, but as per the corporation details shown on the regulator, the only registered website address of the licensed firm is "www.greenharmony.com.hk" instead of the one used by Green Ocean Markets. That means Green Ocean Markets may be a clone firm falsely using the regulatory information of an SFC-regulated firm. The truth is, Green Ocean Markets is not under valid regulation by any regulators to provide investment services. Investors' funds in this company are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. It is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Green Ocean Markets.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
