GSTrade

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked GSTrade against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2025) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Reported by our community & upstream sources
Named in relation to SFC (Hong Kong)

What we found

GSTrade claims to operate under the name GLOBAL SEEK Limited, stating it has registered offices in both Japan and Hong Kong. However, our verification efforts found no record of this company in the official registers of either the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) or the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). This means that, even if GSTrade maintains physical addresses in these jurisdictions, it does not hold any authorization to conduct regulated financial or forex trading activities in either location. Operating without proper licensing in such tightly regulated markets is a major red flag. Therefore, GSTrade appears to be a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report GSTrade.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
