IDFPOWER

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked IDFPOWER against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Unregulated / unlicensed
Named in relation to FCA (UK)Named in relation to NFA (U.S.)

What we found

IDFPOWER shows its office address is in the United Kingdom. As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK financial regulator – FCA. However, we did not find any match results to IDFPOWER in FCA. That means IDFPOWER is not an approved broker to offer financial services and products in the UK. Besides, IDFPOWER claims it has MSB registration in the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). However, FinCEN is only a bureau of the United States Department of the Treasury that collects and analyzes information about financial transactions to combat domestic and international money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes. That means FinCEN is not a financial regulator that approves licenses for forex brokers. What's more, IDFPOWER claims it has regulation in the US National Futures Association (NFA) with an NFA ID: 0547365. We do find a match result to IDFPOWER in NFA, but the result shows this broker is not under valid regulation by NFA as it is not an NFA member. That means IDFPOWER is not regulated by any regulators. Investors' money in this broker is unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report IDFPOWER.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
