Metro Capital Fx

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked Metro Capital Fx against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Reported by our community & upstream sources
Named in relation to FCA (UK)

What we found

Metro Capital Fx claims to be a member of Blue Capital Limited, a regulated online financial company with registration in the Companies House of the United Kingdom (CH) under number 07984530 and regulated by the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). First, we indeed find a match result to Blue Capital Limited in CH. But CH is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies which has no legit rights to regulate any forex activities. Having registration does not mean having any regulation. Second, there is also a match result to Blue Capital Limited in FCA. But this firm is no longer authorized by FCA to provide regulated activities and products. That means no matter whether Metro Capital Fx or Blue Capital Limited is not under valid regulation to do forex by any regulators. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Metro Capital Fx.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
