What we found

Vlado is not a reliable broker for traders even though it states offers that look good to be true. Vlado claims it is the trade name of Vlado Limited, a company authorized and regulated by the Money Services Business of Canada (MSB) and Australian Services & Investments Commission (ASIC), and registered with the Companie House of the United Kingdom (CH). But first please be informed that Money Services Business of Canada (MSB) is not a regulatory body that issues licenses for forex trading or regulates entities engaging in forex services. Second, CH is the United Kingdom's registrar of companies which has no legit rights to regulate any forex activities. Having registration does not mean having any regulation. As per the United Kingdom law, all firms and individuals offering, promoting, or selling financial services or products in the UK have to be authorized or registered by the UK financial regulator – FCA. However, we did not find any match results to Vlado in FCA. As for the regulation in ASIC, we also did not find any match results to Vlado in ASIC. That means Vlado is not overseen by any regulators. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, Vlado is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Vlado.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
