LibertyFX

⚠ Flagged on the register · High risk

We checked LibertyFX against the AskCheck register. It has been reported (2022) and carries the red flags below. Treat it with extreme caution.

Why it’s flagged

⚑ Offshore / shell registration
Named in relation to SFC (Hong Kong)

What we found

LibertyFX is not a reliable broker for traders even though it states offers that look good to be true. LibertyFX claims it is a Vanuatu-based firm regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Committee (VFSC) under company number: 700355. However, we did not find any match results to the company name or the company number in VFSC. Besides, LibertyFX claims it has an office in Hong Kong. So we did searching in the Hong Kong Securities And Futures Commission (HK SFC) but found no matching results to LibertyFX. That means LibertyFX is not an approved broker in Hong Kong. The truth is that LibertyFX is not overseen by any regulators. Investors' funds in this broker are unsafe and cannot be protected by any law. Therefore, it is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report LibertyFX.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
