What we found

According to its website, it claims regulated by Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), the Australia Securities & Investment Commission (ASIC), and the Financial Services Conduct Authority (FSCA). Upon investigation, no matching information was found in these regulators. In addition, it claims regulated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission with registration numbers: 801-118366. Upon investigation, we found that the company name matching this number is not Real Estate Investment Company, which shows that it has stolen the supervision of other compliance companies. The truth is that Real Estate Investment Company is not regulated by any regulators. Letting it hold or control investors' money is unsafe, and the money can not be protected by any laws. Real Estate Investment Company is a scam.

What to do next

  1. Stop sending money. Don’t make another deposit, pay a “tax” or “release fee”, or share remote-access to your device.
  2. Gather your evidence. Save statements, chat logs, transaction IDs and the wallet addresses you paid to.
  3. Report it to your regulator and to local police / action-fraud line so it’s on the official record.
  4. Add your report here so the next person searching this name is warned — report Real Estate Investment Company.
  5. Verify on the register. Cross-check the full entry on the SentFunds register before you trust anyone offering to help.
Beware recovery scams. After a loss, fraudsters often return posing as “recovery agents” who guarantee your money back for an up-front fee. AskCheck is a free public checker — we don’t recover funds and we don’t guarantee funds can be recovered. Never pay anyone who promises a guaranteed recovery.
